Mass Effect 2

It's my current game addiction, and it hasn't even come out for the PS3 yet. The demo is awesome; the first time I played it, it took me an hour. And I keep going back to play it again. Now that's a good demo.

For those of you who don't know, Mass Effect is a game by Bioware. It was originally released solely for the 360, but someone had a change of heart and now the second and third games are being released multiplatform. Gameplay is pretty cool: the game is a third-person shooter but it also has RPG elements as well. It even has a two-tiered karma system, which I think is awesome.

Yes it is. Joker is voiced by Seth Green, and Wilson is voiced by Steve Blum (I love his voice. Too bad he dies in the beginning of the game.). So, semi-all star cast.

So back on topic about the game.

Apparently you die at the beginning of the game. As Jacob puts it, "Dead as dead could be."

But obviously you don't stay dead. It takes two years to rebuild you. Awesome.

Only two years? Damn that quite slow.

I know, and that's with the most advanced technology. Weird.

The Chinese could have done it faster and for a far less cost. The only thing he would have to do is bare the shame of the made in china tag.

I don't think Shepard would appreciate that. Shepard's already less than partial to working with Cerberus; I don't think the Chinese would be much better.

Hey at least I started. I just can't devote the time to it like you did.

I'm not saying I expect you to beat it in "x amount of days/time". A decent playthrough will take you about 40 hours (though I include the DLC into that estimate).

I was rather irresponsible after I bought it and practically spent all my time that I wasn't at school, using the restroom, or sleeping playing it. About 90-100 hours of time I should have used for studying. Or sleeping. Hence why my grades noticeably slipped.

Well so far so good. I mean I am still in the early stages, but I like it so far. I hate it because I suck at shooting and keep dying. I blame Jacob.

Married. Addicted to. Same difference.

Jacob is retarded. I don't like bringing him along on missions 'cause he gets me killed. And no, I just don't suck at ME2, he somehow gets stuck in front of me and by the time I'm able to move I'm already dead. Happened a couple times with Garrus, too.

ON the plus side, Jacob did help me a trophy so I owe him that much.

Miranda helped you die. Again. After those two long years of putting you back together, you'd figure she wouldn't use the first chance she gets to kill you.
