Who are your favorite authors?

I was recently introduced to David Baldacci, his books are good. I've read Last Man Standing and am lost somewhere in Total Control... I have no idea what's going on in that book... I put it down like a month ago and haven't read it since... o_O

While that is true that doesn't really mean that I've read them, I specifically made it my life goal not to read his books.

he LOTR is above it sadly, although I don't like it, it is a great series. It is well written and thought out. The plot flows and the climax is enjoyable.
